MACOPHOT Aura IR 820c is the companion product to MACOPHOT Precision IR 820c. Both are 820 nanometer infrared films, the difference being that the Aura has no antihalation backing, which in the Precision produces extremely sharp images. Some infrared shooters, however, like their images to show blossoming in the highlights and taking the antihalation backing off enhances that effect in the Aura film.
When used with filters that are deep to opaque red it is effective in creating scenes where foliage and clouds are pure-white, while water and blue sky is coal black.
Warm skin tones and lips will appear white. It has infrared spectral sensitivity up to 820nm.
