New to the Gossen family of high quality meters is the Digisix. Ultra-compact, and packed with features, the Digisix is an ambient light meter that does much more than just determine exposure.
As an exposure meter, the Digisix is a prime example of Gossen's high precision and reliability, based on Gossen-specific calibration and German engineering.
The Digisix is small enough to sit comfortably on your camera's hot shoe (with optional shoe adapter), and sports a digital read-out and analog scale for ambient light levels that can be measured in reflective or incident mode. Digital read out in EV is easily transferred to a setting ring where all the shutter speed/f-stop combinations can be read at a glance. Digital LCD read-out and Contrast scene read-out's are in 1/3-stop increments. Meter sensitivity range is 0-18EV.
But the Digisix doesn't stop there. Not only is it an exposure meter, but it also offers a functioning clock with alarm, a timer for timing long exposures, plus a precision digital thermometer which measures temperatures and stores a high and low value.
All of this fits into an unbelievably small package (3 x 2 x 1 inch) with trendy styling, which is easy and comfortable to operate. The meter weighs approximately 1.5 oz (including battery), and comes with a carry case, strap and battery.
