Freestyle Photographic Supplies and The Creative Center for Photography are proud to announce the opening of an exclusive show: The Recent Works of Ryuijie.

Northern California photographer Ryuijie, highlights the wonders of the deep and the solitude of the frozen in an exhibition showcasing his Kanchi and Ice Forms Series.

The underwater world was Ryuijie's first source of inspiration and the birthplace of his first photographs. Thirty years later he has come full circle, finding inspiration for images in the big blue. Photographed in collaboration with assistant Camille Lenore, Kanchi illustrates a deep respect for the Oceans and for the life that inhabits them.

Moving from liquid to solid, in Ice Forms, Ryuijie captures botanicals frozen in solid ice succeeding in interrupting the life process of various floras and timelessly preserving their beauty.

We invite you to join us and share in the festivities as we showcase a collection of black & white silver gelatin prints by Ryuijie.

The Creative Center for Photography is the home of the Advisory Board of Photographic Professionals and houses one of the finest collections of fine-art photography. The Center is located at Freestyle's landmark Hollywood headquarters and retail store - 5124 Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood, CA 90027.
