We will be closed Saturday through Monday, May 28th - 30th for the Memorial Day Holiday
Our last printed traditional catalog is in the mail!
Since 1946, we have been a dedicated supplier and resource of traditional photographic supplies to professionals, amateurs, enthusiasts and students who have a passion for photography. When we first opened our doors, the majority of our orders came through the mail and hence the term, "mail order" was prominent. About 30 years ago, a shift occurred and orders through the mail decreased, but calling in an order over the telephone "telesales" grew as credit cards became more mainstream. Then in the early 2000's another shift was in the making...the world wide web. Today, almost 90% of our orders come to us via the internet, and, unlike our printed catalog, our entire product selection is online and available to you...24 hours a day!
We absolutely remain committed and dedicated to traditional photography and continue to find ways to not only keep products available, but also as affordable as possible. Producing a printed catalog is costly and the time has come to take those costs and pass the savings onto you, our loyal customers! These savings will allow us to continue to invest in those manufacturers that produce black and white films, silver gelatin papers, photographic chemicals and darkroom products now, and well into the future.
Rest assured...our communication with you will not stop. We will continue to update you and introduce new products and product changes through email on a more frequent basis.
In addition... we will continue sending out our Freestyle Creative Imaging Supplies guide featuring inkjet papers and digital printing tools. If you are not currently receiving this guide and you would like to, please make sure you sign up for it on our website or just give us a call.
And finally... take a walk down memory lane with us. View covers from our past catalogs... a retrospective of many years of inspiring, featuring and promoting traditional photography!
Thanks for your continued support of traditional photography. We look forward to the future of many great photographs and prints for many years to come!
Sincerely,
Eric Joseph
