Using papers manufactured by Awagami is a "transformational" experience.  From the moment you see your image on these traditional Japanese (washi) papers or feel them in your hands, the only word that comes to mind is 'Superb'.  For 300 years, Awagami has been making paper in Tokushima Japan and recently created 'Awagami Inkjet Paper' (A.I.J.P) as a completely unique paper line for the inkjet world.  Each sheet has a truly handmade look and feel and made from renewable, neutral pH and completely eco-friendly materials as Kozo (mulberry), Mitsumata, Bamboo and Hemp.  Designed for professional fine art use, A.I.J.P papers are created with old world Japanese papermaking techniques focusing on museum-quality and archival permanence.  Made with a more subtle coating than Western inkjet papers, images printed on A.I.J.P will unite with the paper itself creating a singular work of art. Available in popular European (A-system) sizes, these papers need to be experienced to be believed.  Best used with Epson Velvet Fine Art Media Setting.
