Beseler 45MXT Enlarger Chassis Only

The 45MXT motorized chassis provides a sturdy foundation for this classic enlarging system. The longtime standard of the darkroom craftsman, the 45MXT chassis has a triangular truss reinforced, twin girder frame which permits the enlarger to produce prints greater than 16"x20" on the baseboard from 35mm film. The 45MXT is the latest in a series of 45M chassis designs, adding a neoprene light seal in the upper negative stage and lens turret capability to its already impressive list of features. Virtually every accessory for the 45MXT will fit every Beseler 45M enlarger manufactured since 1953, thus assuring compatibility with technological advances. Use with the Dichro 45S Color head #8278 or the Condenser Light Source #8121.

Beseler 45MXT Chassis Only requires a head (#8121 or #8278) and baseboard (#8232 or #8516) to be a complete enlarger.

Lens, lensboard, and negative carriers are not included and is necessary to complete this item. 

Special Note: All Beseler 45MXT enlargers require item #8022 Recessed lensboard when using a 50mm enlarging lens and 35mm film. This is due to a updated bellows design. The standard flat Beseler lensboard #8023 or Delta Bes-Board #42245 can be used for other enlarging lenses with standard 39mm leica thread.
