Premier Art Coating Eco Print Shield Satin - 1 Quart

Model: 31210
Manufacturer: Premier Art

In Stock

PremierArt ECO Print Shield is the best coating for canvas since it does not crack when stretched. This advanced polymer coating will not yellow or go brittle.

ECO Print Shield is a water based coating protects prints from moisture, light, humidity, atmospheric contaminants, abrasions and even fingerprints. Available in a Gloss, Satin and Matte finish. For use with water resistant canvas only. If using with a satin or gloss canvas with Canon Lucia inks, a base coat of Print Shield Spray must be used prior to the ECO Print Shield Canvas Coating application.

For optimum results, three coats are recommended for proper protection. Allow your inkjet prints to completely dry, at least 24 hours, before coating. The first two coats are with ECO Glossy and the final 3rd coat with the ultimate surface you would like: ECO Satin, ECO Matte or ECO Glossy. ECO is milky in color and turns clear when dry. All coats must be allowed to completely clear (generally 15 to 30 minutes) before applying the next coat (times will vary depending on environment). ECO can be diluted up to 20% with distilled water. Apply with a high density foam roller or spray with an HVLP gun.  Canvas may be stretched 3 hours after 3rd coat has completely cleared.
