The Archival Pigment Emulsion Transfer System was developed by Bonny Lhotka. Her DASS ART line of products enables users to coat uncoated papers for inkjet printing or transfer images from pigment-printed, Inkjet Transparency films to a wide array of substrates, including paper, metal, plastics, ceramics and more.

DASS ART SuperSauce Concentrate is used with isopropyl alcohol to make SuperSauce Solution.  You can use the solution to move pigment inkjet images from DASS ART transfer film to a variety of substrates.  Mix with 91% isopropyl alcohol (not included) to make the SuperSauce Solution, in small batches. You can also use undiluted as a primer for transfer processes.  SuperSauce White is used for transfer projects on clear substrates or where milky highlights are desired.

SuperSauce is a medium used to move pigment inkjet images from DASS ART Transfer Film to nearly any flat substrate like fine art papers, metal, Dibond®, acrylic, p95 acrylic, mixed media work on canvas, smooth fabrics, smooth wood, stone paper, copper, anodized aluminum, aged aluminum, Medex®, glass, tarlatan canvas panels, CineFoil, fine black sandpaper, sign blanks and cracked surface panels made with DASS Universal Inkjet Precoat II. There are many other substrates that can be transferred to as long as they are smooth and clean. When transferring to nonporous surface, SuperSauce Concentrate is sometimes used as a primer, and then activated with SuperSauce Solution. To make transfers onto porous materials, only the SuperSauce Solution is used. SuperSauce can also be used to create skins and decals which can then be applied to non flat surfaces.

  • White is used for transfer projects on clear substrates or where milky highlights are desired.
  • This Concentrate must be mixed with 91% isopropyl alcohol to create the Transfer Solution.
  • Works well with ALL substrates.
  • Easier and more forgiving than WonderSauce.
  • When printing your image on transfer film, use Photo Black Ink as matte black ink will smear during the transfer process.
  • Use in a well ventilated area as the alcohol fumes can be strong.

**To be used with DASS Art Film

**Not to be used with dye based printers.
