The Zero Image Back to Nature Series of cameras are basically the same design as the traditional Zero Image pinhole cameras, made of solid brass, high quality teak wood (for yacht making) with hard wax-oil finish which is far more eco-friendly. This hard wax-oil finish not only maintains the natural look of the wood, it also forms a highly durable barrier against water, stains, heat, dirt and wear and tear. It will not peel or flake and it is very easy to maintain. Not like the lacquer finish, wax oil is very easy to apply to offer a far more affordable price so more people can enjoy pinhole photography.

The Zero Image 35mm Dual Format Pinhole Camera is the world's first wooden pinhole camera that will accept 35mm film. The dual format will allow you to set the format to 35mm or panoramic 23mmx44mm. The exposure dial is right on the camera allowing for quick calculations of exposure times.

This camera takes sharp images with an artistic atmosphere. It allows a wide range of creative possibilities for any serious photographer. A truly unique addition to your collection of pinhole cameras. Get one today!

TIP:

  • For outdoor bright sun light, expose for 2 seconds.
  • To calculate actual exposure time, take a light meter reading with a hand held light meter or with a 35mm camera, set the indicated shutter speed by rotating the dial of the exposure guide. Read the exposure time for f/138, then calculate and adjust for reciprocity failure if above 2 seconds.

Reciprocity corrections:

  • 2-4 second exposure, multiply by 2
  • 4-10 second exposure, multiply by 5
  • 50 seconds or more exposure, multiply by 12

*Reciprocity corrections vary by manufacturer and film type. Check film's data chart for reciprocity corrections.
