This DVD production by Anthropy Arts on Keith Carter starts with an intimate documentary that takes the viewer through his entire career, giving an in-depth look at his techniques and philosophy, and features special guest interviews, including curator Anne Wilkes Tucker and Academy Award winning writer Horton Foote. In addition, there is a separate segment of Mr. Carter discussing the stories behind many of his most beloved photographs, and a bonus feature of a step-by-step toning session in his darkroom.

Keith Carter's haunting, enigmatic photographs have been widely exhibited in Europe, the U.S., and Latin America. He is the recipient of two National Endowment for the Arts Grants and the Lange-Taylor Prize from The Center for Documentary Studies at Duke University, and the endowed Walles Chair of Art at Lamar University. His work is included in numerous permanent collections, including The Smithsonian Institute, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, The George Eastman House, Art Institute of Chicago, The Museum of Fine Arts of Houston, and the Wittliff Collection of Southwestern and Mexican Photography.
