Polarizers are very flexible filters which can solve a number of photographic problems. If you compare the two example pictures above, you can clearly see the advantages a polarizer can give; the reflections in the glass are greatly reduced, leaving much less to obstruct the subject model. This filter can also reduce reflections from the surface of water, and can increase contrast in shots of the sky as well. We recommend using a Linear Polarizer if you have a manual camera, and a Circular Polarizer if you have a camera with autofocus, as Linear Polarizers can sometimes interfere with autofocus systems.
