Senior Vice President Merchandising and Product Development

Dear Valued Freestyle Customer,

I am happy to report that our first shipment of Jobo CPP-3 processors and accessories are in production and will be shipping to us soon. Thank you to all who placed preorders for this brand new, updated and redesigned film and paper processor. All orders will be filled on a first come first serve basis and we will continue to order based on demand.

In our last email newsletter, we introduced Adox Silvermax 100 ISO 35mm film. Our first shipment was completely sold out by the time it arrived on our dock and a new order has been placed and is scheduled for delivery to us mid-March. Worldwide demand for this film seems to be quite high. Thank you to all who have helped to make this a very successful product launch and please check our website in mid-March for arrival of the new batch.

Speaking of websites, we are in the final stages of a newly designed and more user-friendly website. Our new site has been based on several years of customer feedback and suggestions and we are very excited with what has been developed. Look for the newly designed Freestyle website spring 2013.

I have been literally overwhelmed with requests to perform our "World of Inkjet Paper-Success or Failure...The Print Matters!" seminar at educational institutions, commercial labs and photo clubs all over the country. I am in the process of creating a very rigorous travel schedule to accommodate the many invitations we have received. Please make sure to like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter and visit our website regularly to get the most up-to-date schedule of seminars and events.

Our new Freestyle Creative Imaging Supplies catalog was mailed out in January to schools and customers who have purchased inkjet products from us in the past. This new catalog, along with the new inkjet section of our website, is an invaluable resource of information related to the world of inkjet paper. One of the main features is an Inkjet Paper Comparison Chart listing all of the crucial technical aspects of the most popular inkjet papers on the market in a concise, easy to read, "developing chart" type format. The chart on our website has an additional notes column stating "Why Buy?" and "Considerations" for all of the papers listed in the catalog. This feature gives you anecdotal information not found anywhere else based on my and my staff's personal impressions of each paper. Also, make sure to also check out the Inkjet Paper Glossary of terms. This page will give you all of the important vocabulary you need to talk about inkjet papers.

If you would like a copy of this Inaugural edition of the FS Creative Imaging Catalog, please request a copy.

Please keep those comments and feedback coming and remember, "Without YOU there is no US!"

Sincerely,
Eric Joseph

Hensel Integra 2-Light Mini 600 Kit

A Great Lighting Kit... and Priced Right!

It is not often that I am impressed with a lighting kit, but I have to mention the new Hensel Integra 2-Light Mini 600 Kit. The compact Mini 600 kit has brains as well as brawn. Backing up an impressive 300 watts of power are convenience features that elevate it from being just another flash head to a professional lighting tool. But what good is power if you can't deliver it when it's needed? The Integra Mini 600 kit recycles in a lightening 0.25 - 1.2 second and it does it at flash durations as short as 1/1900 sec., so that every fleeting gesture is frozen. And what's power without proportion? The Integra Mini 600 kit offers a 6 f/stop range, down to 1/32 power in 0.1 stop increments, which makes it perfect for photographers using digital cameras. Finally, all Hensel monolights are multi-voltage monolights, which makes it so you can use it almost anywhere in the world that has electricity. Its small size and weight mean that you'll want to take it everywhere. This is now the lighting kit we use to shoot all of our products for the catalog.
