The Holga camera was initially introduced to the Chinese public in 1982 as an inexpensive camera for everyday use.  Shortly after its introduction it became an underground artistic phenomena.  Using the Holga is an exercise in breaking free from dependence on technology precision and controllability. The slight softness of the images vignetting and random light leaks produce dream-like one-of-a kind images.

Recalling the days before movies and radio Holga stereo 3D cameras produce analog stereo images that pop out in true 3D when viewed with the stereo viewer.  It is a great way to see Holga images beyond the 2D confines of film and paper.

Holga Stereo 3D cameras uses two lenses to shoot two images on your film slide or print side by side. To view the images in 3D there are several options. If you shoot with slide film  you simply cut out the corresponding frames and mount them in a Holga 3D Slide Mount and put the mount into a Holga 3D Slide Viewer. If you shot with print film you can view the prints side by side with the Holga 3D Slide/Print Viewer or the Loreo Lite 3D Viewer. If you scan your images in you can view them on your computer or online in a variety of ways - including putting them side by side on a webpage creating an animated GIF or even merging the two scans into one and creating a red/blue anaglyph you can view with classic red/blue 3D glasses.

This camera also includes a built in flash above each lens. Like the Holga 120CFN the flashes have spinning color wheels for your choice of red yellow blue or standard white flash. Make sure they're set to the same color if you plan on viewing the resulting images in 3D.
