Question:
What camera and equipment do you suggest if you love black and white nudes, polaroid sx, and mordancage? Thank You, Mary

Answer:
Dear Mary Beth,

Thank you for your question regarding cameras. First if you love Polaroid SX, I suggest you find an old Polaroid SX 70 camera and play with that. It is possible however to trick some of the newer Polaroid 600 cameras to take the Time Zero film. Personally, I like the old original cameras made for this film, and they are light and easy. If focusing is a problem, I suggest a sonar version.

For black and white nudes and mordancage, we first must remember that cameras don't take pictures, people do. That said, the field is wide open with possibilities. However, mordancage requires a negative to start with, so digital is out. Again, personally, I use Nikon's, Mamiyas, Pentax primarily, but really feel it its the artist behind the lens that creates the image and so much depends on your style. Hope this helps.
