Arista-II is the next generation of Freestyle's famous B&W papers!
Manufactured in England by a major supplier with almost 100 years of experience, Arista-II is a premium quality B&W photographic paper for professional, school and student use.
Arista-II Variable Contrast, Resin-Coated paper emulsions are high-speed (nearly twice as fast as other brands), neutral to cold in tone and accept toners exceptionally well. Also featured is a pure-white, medium weight, resin-coated base. Process in standard B&W chemicals.
Available in both Glossy and Fine-Luster surfaces.
Paper Base Details:
The paper base is 190 g/m2 coated on both sides with 40 g/m2 of polyethylene giving a base weight of approximately 270 g/m2 and a thickness of approximately 245 µm.
Coated Emulsion Layer:
The light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer has a silver content of approximately 1.5 g/m2 . This is covered with a gelatine supercoat which protects the emulsion from stress fogging and physical damage, as well as containing a developing agent. (Machine processable but can not be used in activator/stabilization processors.)
